Boudin — Seascape with Open Sky

A low band of sea gives way to an expansive sky, where powder blue, gray and ivory settle into passing clouds. The soft marks of Boudin’s original pastel lend the scene its lightness. Selected for its openness and gentle shifts of tone, this seascape brings breathing room to a living space shaped by natural light, pale stone and linen.

Paper, pigment and presentation

Printed to order by fine-art specialist theprintspace using the giclée process, with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm. This 100% cotton paper has a gently textured matte surface suited to subtle color and fine detail. It is acid- and lignin-free.

An ivory window mat gives the image room to breathe. Cut from 1.4 mm acid-free board with a 45° bevel, it sits within a slender Nielsen Quadrum wood frame: 16 mm across the face and 25 mm deep. Choose black or an oak finish; the oak option is solid wood finished with an oak veneer.
